Rotary is 1.2 million passionate individuals in 35,000+ clubs worldwide. We are both an international organization and a local community leader. Together we lead change in our own backyards and across the world. Our club is made up of a philanthropic community of individuals who share a humanitarian concern for the welfare of all people on earth in a secular, non-political way.

Involvement in our club offers great opportunities for leadership development for yourself and/or the organization you work for. Members are encouraged to participate in or lead one of several committees that are vital to the success and efficient operation of our club.

  • Meetings are held weekly on Tuesdays at 7am, at Nine Beans and A Burrito, 764 Cheney Drive, Twin Falls.

Required Quarterly Fee:

  • Breakfast/Meeting room @ $10/meal $130
  • District 5400 Dues ($44/year) $11
  • Rotary International Dues, Rotarian Magazine, & Insurance ($100) /year) $25
  • Club Operating Expenses $9

  • Raffle $1/ticket, $2/3 tickets
  • Good News/Bad News $2 minimum

Membership Expectations

Required:

  • Beer Festival: Volunteering all day the first Saturday of August
  • Speakers: With a team, secure speakers on month of the year.
  • Exchequer Fines: Usually $1-$1/week
  • Rotary Book: $5/month if you do not sign the book
  • Pancake Breakfast: Either sell 10 tickets for $5 or donate $50
  • Family Member Meals: Adults $10, children $5
  • Attendance: 60% of meetings and club events

Encouraged:

  • $100 per year to the Every Rotarian Every Year campaign of the Annual Fund. Members who give $100 each year are known as Sustaining Members.
  • When your giving reaches $1,000, you are named a Paul Harris Fellow. You will be recognized at each $1,000 threshold of giving.
  • Volunteering the day of Pancake Breakfast
  • Assisting Beer Festival with sponsors, silent auction items or selling tickets
  • Join a committee.

To Become a Member:

  • Before induction into the club, you’ll be asked to pay $225, of which $50 is a non-refundable initiation fee. The remaining $175 will be held by the club in your name for as long as you remain in the club to be applied to your final bill. Any remaining balance after the final bill is paid will be refunded. The club treasurer will bill you $175 for the previous quarter.
  • You will be billed for meals regardless of attendance or whether or not you eat. A meal credit of $10 for a missed meeting is given upon presentation of a make-up slip from another Rotary Club where you paid for the meal. 
  • You are responsible for keeping your account current with the club, even if your employer pays for your membership.

  • World Service: Help decide which Rotary global grants our club will financially support
  • Youth Services: Help organize youth programs such as the annual leadership camp and international exchange programs
  • Membership: Collaborate on creative ways to recruit individual and corporate members
  • Public Image: Help promote Rotary to the public via social media and other creative ways
  • Rotary Administration: Help set up before and after weekly meetings, manage member name badges, guest meal fees, catering, roving microphone, etc.
  • Programs: Recommend and discuss weekly speakers on topics of interest to our members
  • Century Scholars: Help plan and coordinate annual event celebrating top 100 graduating seniors and an educator of their choice.
  • Newsletter: write weekly/monthly newsletters
